General Terms and Conditions of Business
- Validity of these General Terms and Conditions of Business
1.1. All offers, deliveries, and services of A.Tsielepis Reference Photography Ltd (Leica Cyprus) in connection with the purchase of cameras, optical equipment, and accessories, as well as with the booking of photo courses (workshops) via the Leica Cyprus website, are subject to these General Terms and Conditions of Business (GTCs).
1.2. Deviating or supplementary terms and conditions of business of the customer are not binding for A.Tsielepis Reference Photography Ltd (Leica Cyprus) unless explicitly agreed to in writing.
- Offers and conclusion of contract
2.1. Product presentations and descriptions on the Leica Cyprus website are invitations for customers to submit offers through their orders, not binding offers themselves.
2.2. Orders are placed by adding selected products to the shopping cart, proceeding to checkout, selecting payment and shipment terms, and confirming the order.
2.3. By submitting an order, the customer makes a binding offer to A.Tsielepis Reference Photography Ltd (Leica Cyprus).
2.4. Upon receipt of the order, Leica Cyprus will send the customer an electronic order confirmation, acknowledging receipt but not yet accepting the offer.
2.5. The contract is formed upon written or electronic acceptance of the customer’s offer by Leica Cyprus (order confirmation), which governs the content of the contract.
2.6. Leica Cyprus retains the contract text and provides a copy upon request.
- Prices and shipping costs
3.1. All prices are in EUR and include VAT.
3.2. Prices exclude packaging, transport, and shipping costs, which are borne by the customer.
3.3. Price information on the website is non-binding and subject to change.
- Payment and shipment terms
4.1. Payment methods include credit card (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Diners, Discover), Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, bank transfer, and payment in advance.
4.2. Unless otherwise specified, the purchase price is due within 3 days of receipt of the invoice.
4.3. Upon full payment, orders are dispatched to the specified delivery address within 2-14 working days.
4.4. Shipping is via Cyprus Post, DHL, UPS, or free pickup from the Nicosia store location.
4.5. Alternatively, products can be reserved for collection in-store, with payment due upon collection.

- Guarantee
5.1. Guarantees of the manufacturer and the respective guarantee periods (from the date of invoice) are provided as indicated in the product descriptions on the Leica Cyprus website.
5.2. Guarantee claims for products purchased on the Leica Cyprus website can be filed within the guarantee period at any Leica store.
- Data Privacy
6.1. Leica Cyprus processes personal data provided by customers within the framework of the order for contract fulfillment purposes and to comply with legal obligations.
6.2. Customer data processing is based on explicit consent, contract fulfillment, and legal obligations.
6.3. Personal data will be retained for the duration of the business relationship and beyond for legal compliance purposes.
6.4. Customers have rights regarding their personal data, including access, rectification, erasure, and objection, as per legal provisions.

- Right of Withdrawal
7.1. Consumers have the right to withdraw from contracts regarding the purchase of products made via the Leica Cyprus website within 14 days without giving reasons.
7.2. The right of withdrawal does not apply to orders with a total value, including shipping costs, below EUR 50 or to workshop bookings.
7.3. Workshop bookings are excluded from the right of withdrawal due to their nature as services with a specific time frame.
7.4. The withdrawal period starts from the day the consumer or a third party designated by them, other than the carrier, receives the order.
7.5. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must send a clear declaration of withdrawal to Leica Cyprus by post or email.
7.6. Upon withdrawal, Leica Cyprus will refund all payments received from the consumer within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal declaration, with the consumer responsible for returning the products.
7.7. Leica Cyprus reserves the right to withhold the refund until the products are returned or proof of return is provided.
7.8. The consumer is only liable for any diminished value of the products resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the products.
- Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
8.1. All contracts with A.Tsielepis Reference Photography Ltd (Leica Cyprus) are governed by the laws of Cyprus, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
8.2. Disputes arising from or related to contracts with Leica Cyprus fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus, unless otherwise mandated by consumer protection laws.
- Severability Clause
9.1. If any provision of these General Terms and Conditions of Business is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
9.2. The invalid provision will be replaced with a legally valid provision that best achieves the intended purpose.
